Today we celebrate the legacy of Nelson Mandela, a leader who showed the world that courage, forgiveness, and hope can alter history. His fight against apartheid and dedication to justice made him an international symbol of freedom and human dignity.

To us in Political and Social Sciences, Mandela’s life is history for us; it is a call to action. It reminds us that real change is brought about by people who are willing to dream a better world and work together in building one.
