General Issues

• Reminder: 2021/2022 Annual Report
• New Application to join the Committee: Fabiana Mariutti; CV, Cover Letter, and other information sent by email to all members (on March 22, 2022). All members shall read de info and the decision will be made at the next Monthly Meeting.
  • Matheus Hebling: suggested a position for a person in charge of financing.

BRaS-Blog and C&PR Updates

Matheus Hebling: The blog is doing well, there are posts scheduled until April and he asks the member to send more texts for May on. He also pointed out the need for texts addressing different topics.

Claudia Pires: commented that the texts could address other themes than politics (a critic received from a reader). She also commented on the presentation her RG did at BRASA Congress.

On the C&PR presentation, she presented the latest number of the Blog, highlighting: 1. We have just a few followers on Instagram; 2. There is a good rate of non-followers; 3. 79% of the audience is from BR, and 4. the Twitter account is gaining more followers.

Luíza Ceriolli: said she could be in charge of Twitter and will arrange things with Claudia about that. She also commented on the need for more regular activities, e.g., RG Activities, to post and use social media (the groups have to communicate more often about what they are doing so this communication online reflects that; It cannot be a once-in-a-lifetime post).

Matheus Zago: he will bring the number for the most accessed pages at the next meeting.

Other

Paulo Henrique Martinez: will be in charge of the virtual events, replacing Vinício. He also suggested to and invited all members to contribute with some of these ideas for events he is already organizing at UNESP and others not planned yet that he would like us to take part in.  Some of the ideas: 100 Years of Darcy Ribeiro/ 200^th Anniversary of the Independence of Brazil/ 50^th Anniversary of United Nations Environment Programme.

He also asked about including BRaS’s logo in “Veredas Digitais” events and other series of events, and the members agreed.
